History
The tour consisted of making ascensions with ropes to get to the top of the trees, staying above the Canopy forest made us tell you all the properties and significance of these forests for everyone. On the platforms we spoke to the people about the beautiful landscapes that they were seeing at that moment and then we move to next platform zipping on the cable. When the clients were zipping we realized that it was the part of the tour that they remember better and the part that they mostly liked. So that was the birthing of the Canopy Tour. The Arenal Canopy Tour was the first company certified by the Costa Rica Tourism Board, because of our leadership in this area, we are pioneers in Canopy matters around the world, so we translate that to safety and quality for our clients. Who we are
The company was created in 1994 adopting the name of “Canopy La Fortuna”, in that moment we only had a cable connecting two platforms, since in those days the tour was about naturalistic character and education toward the conservation of our forests. 
Due to this we installed more platforms and cables transforming the tour to an adventure tour in set of naturalistic, of course we did not let the nature apart, but the most of the tour is focus on the adrenaline that the experience of flying produces. As this Canopy tour is one of the few that is located into a real primary forest its natural environment is just unique, combining the adventure with nature in this tour makes the paid price laughable.
